Bio

As Technical Director, Jay is responsible for the programming design and delivery, the coaches and their development, and actively collaborates with our board of directors.

Prior to immigrating to Canada, he had stints with English academies Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle, as well as Belgian club Montegnée, before signing his first professional contract with Torquay United. He then spent time with non-league club Hungerford Town. Jay joined Foothills Soccer Club in 2013, but held multiple roles within other soccer organizations in Calgary, including managing club academies and coaching both boys and girls. He coached two teams to National Championships while simultaneously playing with Foothill FC, the same team he coaches now, and won the 2018 PDL Championship. He later signed with Cavalry FC and made 32 appearances over two seasons with the club.

Jay has a UEFA B License, National Youth License and recently completed his Canada Soccer A License. He has a winning attitude and tenacious spirit, which has helped many of his senior players move on to professional or collegiate soccer each year.
